Golf Course Reviews & Comments:
What a place
by golfer1 on January 15th, 2009 on Primland Resort |
| What an awesome time our group had at Primland. The golf staff is second to none. We felt like members at a private club not a resort. The course is magnificent and the chef's food id first class. I can't wait for our trip back to Primland. |
Poor Lodging
by S Heiffer on September 1st, 2008 on Pendaries Lodge & Golf Course |
| Accomodations of property rented through Pendaries Lodge home rental was horrible, paid $300 per night for home which was dirty, old, smelly, would not recommend renting through the lodge, golf course is okay |
Poor Greens
by Karl Bester on July 5th, 2008 on Rippling Rapids |
| Bob Jewell grounds keeper said that they have no watering system so the course is very dry. |
Golf Information
Golf has always been considered one of the nation's leading sports. Dominated by professionals and relatively free of scandals, the sport of golf has always been pristine. With over 23,000 golf courses in the United States, finding a local golf course available to any man, woman or child is possible.
In order to play a round of golf, you simply need to have a set of golf clubs, a golf bag to carry your clubs, golf balls and shoes. Renting a golf cart is optional since many people prefer to walk the course for exercise and to enjoy nature's beauty. While the game can be challenging for beginners, many golf instructors are available to help you improve your swing, stance, and putting. Many pros play for years to establish their low scores, so don't get discouraged if you are a beginner.
Nearly every golf course will have a clubhouse. Clubhouses generally offer cart rental, new and used drivers, irons, and putters as well as accessories such as balls, gloves, magazines, and instructors so you can access every resource needed to improve your game. Golf isn't a cheap sport, but it can be a very relaxing experience if you enjoy it properly.
